Baron Durius

Baron Jameson Durius, Lord

Baron Durius is an old veteran, he spent his youth fighting orcs and dark elves in the borderlands and beyond. Although he is loyal to the Duke to a fault, he has chosen to take a hands off approach to leadership, allowing local councils determine the day to day running of the towns and villages that make up his barony. In military or safety matter he has a more active role.

Description

Although Lord Durius is old, he still has a spark about him. He is an aging warrior 5'8" in height and of a solid but not fat build he has a steel about him and an undeniable presence.
With thinning red hair and beard since turned to grey, hazel eyes and leathery, liver and sun spotted skin, he is often seen in public still wearing his half plate armour and rapier with pride.

History

As a youngster Jamieson fought in the Pale Wars, fighting in southern Shekiac and Northern Aul"Darin before returning to defend Minaras with honour, first as a crusader, then as a defender of the watch and finally as the lord of the border barony.
