Nythelneas Elves

Overview

The Nythelneas Elves are an ethnic group of high elves that inhabit the Republic of Stonewyth.

History

The Nythelneas group subscribe to the belief that they were created by Aureon, the Sovereign of Law and Lore. Aureon sought to create a society that could bring order and lawfulness to the newly formed world of Eyrar. The god pulled fine granite from the ground and carved and shaped it into the first elves, Loviarion Silinuseus and Viralae Grayiuth. He blessed them with his wisdom and sent them into the world to share it. The population grew rapidly, and the Nythelneas spread across the continent to spread the words of Aureon. Unfortunately, not everyone was receptive to their message. After a genocide in the southeast and an aggressive rejection to the northwest in Wradia, the elves made their way towards the center of Eyrar hid themselves away in the Awineor mountains for safety. Together, they build the city of Ryenthyr atop Mount Mindon, creating secret tunnels and hidden passes up the mountain to protect themselves. Aureon was disappointed, not in his creation but in those who rejected the wisdom he had hoped to share, so he blessed Ryenthyr and helped create a fair republic for his chosen people to live in.
