The Elemental Gates

At eight points around the world there are portals to the elemental planes of Air, Earth, Fire and Water where each of the planes bleed into the material one. Only four have small settlements and temples that have been constructed at these locations to harness the energies of the planes and to guard the world from anything that would step through.    These settlements came to be known as the Elemental Gates, located at some of the most remote places in the world; they are continually protected by devout guardians that come from all over Exorsia to dedicate their lives to the cause. The population of these Elemental Gate Communities are primarily made up of druids, monks and religious worshipers that wish to reside in a place sacred to their deity, they are also a common location to find Genasi.
