Grunach
The Grunach are a collection of druidic people who live in and control the region of the Kororin Swamps in the north of Soliemia. The people of the Grunach are mostly Wild Elves, descendants of the Elves that never left Soliemia after the Dragon-Elf War during the Silver Age. Because of this they share many similar ethnic characteristics such as dark brown skin and dark curly hair.
The Grunach are extremely territorial and still harbour a hate and resentment toward dragons, a hate passed down through the generations. Because of this they live as isolationists, they are a reclusive people who prefer the company of the jungle and their own people, rarely interacting with the outside world. And when they do it is usually a violent meeting.
Many of the Grunach are skilled practitioners of primal magic or expert hunters and trappers. They also tend to be quite secretive and quick to action due to the constant threat of danger within the jungles.
The Grunach like in commune-like settlements, that act as a large family, with children being raised communally. The Grunach have no notion of parents and place no importance on blood relatives. The Grunach also share a majority of their resources communally and have no concept of currency.
The Grunach do not have a centralised government and are instead a collection of multiple tribes who cohabitate the region, with each tribe led by an Archdruid. The Archdruid is usually the oldest member of the tribe. Grunach society is heavily structured around age and maturity with elders being highly respected members of the tribe and deference having to be shown to anyone older than you.
