Abyssal

Abyssal, sometimes called Demonic, is the primary language of Demons. While Lower-ranking Demons communicate using sounds similar to barking, the more intelligent Demons speak Abyssal.

It is a terrible language, like softly droning ocean waves mingled with the violence of a swarm of angry hornets. It is theorised that the language was dervived from mimicing Infernal.

Abyssal is one of the few languages that does not have any gendered language, with no gendered pronouns or direct translation for “male" or "female".

Abyssal is rarely spoken outside the Abyss, but it can be found in use by demonic cults and in demonic rituals.
