Scallywag's Pass
Originally discovered as part of a natural cave system that ran under Kadesh. When the founding members of the Bandit Syndicate discovered its existence, they realized that it could be used as a great hidden escape tunnel should they need to evacuate the city, due to its almost entirely straight path to a beach on the shoreline. They built a tavern, now the Slutty Ducky, on top of the only known entrance and proceeded to cut off Scallywag's Pass from its other connecting cave branches.
When Mirt took over the Slutty Ducky, Kevalan showed him the Pass. To Mirt, this was a prefect way to smuggle people into Kadesh and thus Scallywag's Pass was made a smuggling tunnel, able to get people and things into Kadesh without the use of the docks.
Purpose / Function
Originally as an escape tunnel for the Bandit Syndicate. Now it has been used as a tunnel to smugle people into Kadesh.
Alterations
The orignal Bandit Syndicate cut it off from th rest of the cave system it was apart of.
Architecture
Their have been torch scones placed all along the walls of the Pass, but little actual architecture has been built, expect the addition of some support beams to avoid collapse.
Defenses
Their are no defenses, except that the beach that the Pass opens up to is quite hidden from the water.
Wanadead History
When the Wanadead first got to Kadesh, they were suppose to be smuggled in through Scallywag's Pass. However, during their journey their, they were attacked by Sahuagin, and beached on another beach. Luckily this beach also had a cave system that eventually connected to Smuggler's Pass through a secret door build into the rock wall. At they end of Smuggler's Pass, just before getting to the Slutty Ducky, they encountered a strange creature with another creature on its shoulder. The Wanadead ran from this creature and after they told Kevalan, he said he would deal with it.
