Kadesh: City of Jewels - Season 1 Ep. 2 Session 2 - Crash Landing
General Summary
Upon waking up on the sandy beach, Aeolus saw that they were all alive, albeit unconscious. With Mirt helps, she managed to wake up both her newfound companions. After everyone go to their feet, Mirt informed them that they had crashed on the wrong beach. Luckily, he believed that the cave entrance on this beach should connect them to Scallywag's Pass. He offered them to stay with him, but not wanting to be around Mirt at the moment and fearing more Sahuagin would arrive, the three adventurers left him on the beach and made their way through the cave.
Soon after entering the cave, they came across an abandoned campsite as well as what seemed to be a jail area that had been blocked off by a collapse in the ceiling. Aeolus slipped through the collapsed rock and found that their were three jail cells, two unopened with skeletons inside and one, open with nothing in there. Feeling uncomfortable, the three pressed on but eventually stopped to take a rest in an alcove they walked passed due to them still being sore after their crash landing on the beach.
When they woke up from their long rest, they continued on, eventually stumbling across a small camp which looked to be composed of Goblins. After the trio picked off a few of them and woke up a bloodthirsty crocodile, they managed to come out victorious and continue to make their way through the cave.
As the cave began to climb upwards, they came across a large locked door that seemed to have some sort of mechanism to open it. Upon figuring it out, they proceed forward. Eventually the cave brought them out onto another, much more open cave that seemed to go straight up in the direction of the city. It had seemed they found Smuggler's Pass after all.
After walking for quite a while, the adventurers came to a small open area with a passage that curved to the right, in the small area, they noticed huge eyes staring at them. When Arsenius shot a firebolt in the direction of the creature, it illuminated a alien like monster that vanished into thin air. Not wanting to stick around, the adventurers quickly made their way through the passage on their right but came to a dead end. After feeling around, they discovered a wooden hatch above them and as they began to try and get it open, it opened up, as a man with short black hair and a goatee stood above them, seemingly having been awaiting their arrival. As they clambered out of the hole, Arsenius looked back to see the strange huge eyes starring right back at him, only inches away from where they had been standing.

Aeolus persuaded Mirt into giving them back their money.
