Kadesh: City of War - Season 4 Ep. 17 Session 93

General Summary

With one of the three cult members down, it was 11 against 2. Finally, some fair odds. With Eirkoris and Aeolus teleporting up to the Arrow to focus on him, the rest of the Wanadead and Co. focused their attention on the Wings, the unkillable behemoth of rage. Yet, with a healing aura cast by Brandar, the Wings seemed to not be able to kill any of them either, and thus, they just had to survive.
After Eirkoris and Aeolus almost killed the Arrow, he escaped. However, when they went to go deal with the Wings, the Arrow circled back around and revived the Cult Sorceress Eirkoris had killed.
During this fight, Lucian began chasing after Fid, who tried to flee, leaving some choice words that put into question her loyalty to Lucian and the Sinful Seven, now five.
Unfortunately, the tide seem to switch out of the Wanadead and Co.'s favor after all three Cult members were now back alive and Brandar lost concentration on the only thing keeping them alive.
Yet, just as things turned for the worst, the Beacon seemed to be activated and all hope seemed lost as a field of force expanded out like a ball, covering the ruined structure and washing over Aeolus, Lucian, and Fid, who Lucian had returned with unconscious.
Eirkoris and Arsenius assumed their friend was dead, but the field did not hurt Aeolus, in fact, it seemed as though the Cult's attacks could not penetrate it. With this realization, Dwin commanded everyone to trust it and get inside the forcefield. With some hesitation they did, and though Malthek almost met his end to the Wings, all of them managed to get inside safely, and escape the Cult.
Now they are free to explore this structure, without the Cult following them. At least, as long as the field holds up.
