Based on one of the mid-sized islands to the far northwest of the Islands of the Clans chain. It was the 1st island to fall to the Azai Trade Family attack so it became their main base during the war. As a result, the island is one of the most cultivated islands in the chain. Most of the jungle has been cut back and replaced with cultivated lands. Unfortunately, the remoteness of the island has not helped their trade goods with the other clans.
