The Loop Road

The Loop Road is the primary thoroughfare that connects the many plantations of Botany Bay. It begins in the village of Primrose, running southward along the peninsula before curving back inland, eventually rejoining itself just outside the village, thus forming the loop from which it takes its name.   The road is well-maintained compared to others on the island, a testament to the wealth it supports. Lined with hedgerows, low stone walls, and the occasional flowering tree, it passes through gently rolling farmland and dense, cultivated fields. Embershade Estate, among others, sits along this route, its manicured grounds just visible from the road. Wagons of dyed goods, riders bearing news, and traders on foot all travel its length, making it a lifeline for both commerce and connection. For many, the Loop Road defines the rhythm of life in Botany Bay; quiet, cyclical, and deeply rooted in the land.
"The Loop Road always brings you home, if you know which way to walk."
