Primrose

Primrose is a picturesque village situated in the heart of Botany Bay, known for its gentle coastal breezes, flowering gardens, and quiet elegance. Though not the oldest settlement on the island, it has quickly become the favored retreat for the wealthy and well-connected, a kind of southern jewel where comfort and beauty are taken as givens. The village boasts fine homes, a modest port, and a scattering of upscale shops and salons that cater to the seasonal influx of landowners and visitors.   The Loop Road begins in Primrose, winding its way along the peninsula before circling back again, lending the route its name. Along this road lie many of the region’s most prosperous plantations, including Embershade Estate. Caravans, harvest wagons, and riders pass daily through the village, bringing goods to market or returning to the outlying estates.   Though idyllic and safe, Primrose is not without its practical concerns. It serves as the economic and social heart of Botany Bay’s plantation belt. Local taverns and inns cater to both landowners and trusted overseers, and on market days the square is full of trade and talk. Life in Primrose moves at a gentler pace; but always with purpose.
“The flowers bloom longer in Primrose. Perhaps they know the eyes that fall upon them are the wealthiest on Ashkrim.”
