Spotting a Mystery Man
Summer 2021, Week 2
Monday morning
Andre's Home, The Heights
Isaac Crysentine
Once Andre left the house, Isaac himself got to work. Last night took a toll on him. He had been attacked in his own room, his safe space. The world he had known and what little semblance of order he thought it had was turned completely upside down. Isaac was now in hiding with his family, all living together with Andre. They hadn't brought much with them save for clothes and the essentials. Ok, I have to train. I have to get stronger, but where do I start? As a start, he looked online for any references on past elemental Evos who excelled at combat. None seemed to come up. Dammit. I could take self-defense classes, but what good would that do? A kid who's learning how to fight, might be a bit suspicious. Giving up for the time being, Isaac closed his laptop and told his family he'd be back. He made a beeline for the train and was soon on his way back to Victoria Field.Garnet Park, Victoria Field

The burnt-down warehouse remained locked up though relatively unchanged since last night. Given that it was daylight, it was probably not wise to enter the area out in the open like this. If Isaac wanted to get in, he'd have to find another way. He stumbled around back into the alley, looking for a suitable place to jump the fence - or rather, use his Fire Feet to fly over. Just as he was midair and above the fence, Isaac saw out of the corner of his eye a garbage truck down the alley collecting trash from the warehouses. There was a man there, loading up the bins, but it felt... different. He was taking his time and paused just before the bins were flipped into the truck's garbage collection. Isaac was so distracted by this that he lost all concentration in his feet and fell onto his back into the alley. Struggling, he looked back over to the man who was bent over a garbage bin. He was scooping water out of it... no... holy shit. He's... he's controlling it out? "Hey, wait!" Isaac yelled down the alley, stumbling as he got off the ground. The man noticed him, and quickly got back on the garbage truck, hit the side to give the driver the all-clear, and head off to their next stop. Unfortunately, it was the last stop for the alley, and the garbage truck turned away. All Isaac could get was the truck's number, which he promptly checked on the New Victoria Department of Sanitation website and found it operated out of Port Victoria, since the trash is taken to an offshore landfill. Guess that's where I'm finding him.
