Description
Sorin is a playful and curious person and is always convinced that everyone has a story to tell, though his own story varies from person to person. He lives a comfortable life alone in his one bedroom apartment along with his cat, Hex. His displays of cardistry at the casino are rivalled only by his performances at parks when his whimsy dictates such a concert, where he loves to show off his one talent he can call his own. Secretly, he is envious of people he copies and feels many of his talents are never his. Every time he watches a new physical feat, he feels a tingling in his muscles and nerves, as if his PKR is writing what he sees to muscle memory. General Physical Condition
He has the appearance of anime Colonel Sanders, with a salt and pepper hair color and usually wears comfortable jeans, button down long sleeved shirts and an old gray fedora with a pin he won in a bet. In his work attire, he wears the same gray fedora and sports a carved cane of solid oak. He is lithe and fit.

Personal history
Sorin was left at the steps of an orphanage in the Ward at the early stages of his life, and was lucky someone found him shortly after. He learned basic things quickly, like walking and reading, and was fascinated by talent shows and picked up magic tricks for some time, and after a while an assistant for him came to the orphanage, and a life-long friendship with the redheaded firebrand Layla was born. The first time the two recognized his capabilities as abnormal was when they were playing a game of 2 on 2, and juked one of his friends with their own move moments after they made it themselves. Growing up he and Layla were inseparable, and was often asked when they would just go out with each other in their teen years. While Layla would go out with whoever took her fancy, Sorin was never into romance and dating, and preferred to be the one to playfully remind Layla that he'd mess up someone who broke her heart. He and Layla stayed with the orphanage acting as the protective older siblings, refusing to go to any other families until eventually the two came of age and had to leave the orphanage. In that time they would help defend their siblings with their lives on the line, often getting very hurt in the process but always making it back alive. After their time in the orphanage, they started making their own way in the world, he as a casino dealer at the Lucky Spades, she as an aspiring DJ at a local club. The two never lost contact and would regularly visit each other.
