Ryder is a man who is forced into an awkward social outcast role. He isn’t anti-social as a matter of fact he can be very bubbling and caring and trusting, however he lacks a “filter” that most people would have. For example, if he caught someone in a lie in a big conversation he wouldn’t understand now isn’t the time. And would tell them outright they are lying. Which happens often. He is a smart and hardworking young man who easily trusts others unless he’s on a case.

Born into the wards of a broken home Ryder from a very young age knew he was different from the other kids, from the second he learnt what lying was he knew when people were doing it. He went through the schooling system being bullied relentlessly for his lack of friends given his abilities and due to an unfortunate last name and home life. He had to drop out of high school to pay off his fathers gambling debts. That his mother was paying before she left him alone with his drunkard father, the debts spiralled and spiralled until his father went to prison for gang acts. He was soon left alone at sixteen to fend for himself, and pay off his fathers debts. And is now working a job and trying to get either into Uni or a detective agency as a job, However these are unrealistic dreams given the debt that’s been dumped onto him.
