Basic: Shifting into another persona for an indefinite amount of time, giving them total control and causing the current persona to go fully dormant.(Fully dormant personas are essentially in a permanent slumber until awoken.)
Minor: Shifting into another persona for up to 24 hours while leaving the current persona conscious but semi-dormant within the mind.
(Semi-dormant personas can utilize all physical and mental senses, but cannot control the body in any way.)
Normal: Shifting into another persona for up to 5 minutes while leaving the current persona conscious and semi-active within the mind.
(Semi-active personas not only receive stimuli from the senses but can also attempt to control the body of the active persona. If the active persona gives no resistance a semi-active persona may fully control the body as if it were their own. If the active persona resists an action from a semi-active persona then the stronger willed persona takes precedence, with the active persona gaining a natural advantage in the contest. Personal history
An extremely passive person to begin with, Lynn suffered through a somewhat rough social climate in school and had two parents that constantly fought at home. Constantly being put into social conflict growing up, she retreated away into her passion for art and video games. Once she graduated from high school she began taking art classes online and further retreating into her shell. Eventually this would catch up with her as she is inevitably thrust into a social situation that she couldn't handle.
Forced to attend a party after years of isolation, the stress eventually causes her to snap and forcefully awaken her powers as she assumed the personality and appearance of her favorite character from among everything she had seen or played over the years, the details of the character so ingrained in her memory that she is able to form the persona as the first in her roster. From that day on she began to look for a way to use the power to outsource her social interactions, but being so new to the ability she completely lost control and the fictional persona went on to create its own life.
