I wonder how hard I can go

He continues working on the clay bust of the person he met on that rooftop, that 'Unbreakable' dude, as he thinks to himself, This will probably get recycled, but I just want to form it to really get it in my head. He shapes the contours of what little of the face he saw, meeting the sculpted bandanna and goggles as his fingers and sculpting tools are put to work. Maybe I should work on more important things, like my powers... get used to using the earth and becoming it. Yeah... I should do that. Deciding on that course of action, he grabs a thick plastic bag to wrap up the bust and sets it aside. He closes the big door to his garage workshop after turning off the neon OPEN sign, checking for any hoodlums and hooligans as he does so. Once the door is closed, he takes a deep breath and shifts his body into sand.[Type 2, Normal x1, -3EP (12/15)]

"All righty. Time to see how long I can maintain this for." His voice, lighter in tone and almost a harsh hiss like the sound of the running sand he is now comprised of, rasps out as he focuses on feeling the earth beneath him, beneath the concrete foundation of his workshop, and wills it to displace itself, with monumental effort and ample time, pulling from the entirety of what little yard he called his property and erected a solid, three foot by four inch wall of dirt and loam around the perimeter of his property boundaries.[Type 1, Normal x3, -9EP (6/15)]
His form starts to shift back to his normal human form, and noticing this Ari redoubles his focus towards sustaining his form, even shifting it towards a rock form, feeling his sand particles squish and meld together, transforming the sand into something hard and solid. Granite seems good[Type 2, Normal x1, -3EP (9/15)]
His voice rumbles and grates as he speaks, a stark contrast to the voice of his sand form as he states out loud, "Dope." His focus returns to the wall, slowly using the last of his concentration and effort to transmute most of the dirt to marble, smoothing out some of the finer details into almost like a lattice, stopping several feet before he starts to lose his breath, his heavy breathing sounding like stones grating against each other.[Type 1, Normal x2, -6EP (0/15)]
I wonder how hard I can go... I've gone concrete and granite before... but what about metal? He ponders as he tries to force his form to become more and more dense in irony material, almost panting from the strain of focus that he is forcing himself to struggle through. Focusing for an extended period of time, he can see small flecks of shiny material form across his hand, but eventually exhaustion forces him to let go completely.[Type 2, Normal x3, -9EP (0/15)]

"Jeez... That's... a start... I guess..." panting heavily, exhausted from the effort, he trudges up the stairs to his loft, looking out the dirty window to look at his handiwork. "Not... bad... Not bad... at all..." He smiles as he drags his feet to the bed, collapsing on top of it and letting the exhaustion pull him to unconsciousness. "Would be pretty neat... if I can be metal, too..." He thinks aloud before the darkness consumes his consciousness.
