Personality

Ari is somewhat of a pacifist, seeking to avoid conflict at all costs, and quite easily falls under the trope of a gentle giant. Most of his days are spent in a storefront, producing works of art to sell at the airport in New Victoria for tourists or commissioned work for people that know where to find his workshop. The workshop is run by himself and his friend Bandu, with Bandu handling most of the communication end of the business.

Personal history

Ari grew up as a son of a struggling car salesman and stay at home mom, along with his older brother Derek and baby sister Kayla. Due to the stress of work, and struggling at times to feed the family, Arnold slowly turned more and more abusive, often times beating the other members of the family for little mistakes. Derek was soon able to work and help support the family, and picked up a job at a restaurant near Breezy Point. Ari had finally graduated from high school, and was ready to start learning how to be a mechanic for his dad's dealership, when one day.. the fire happened. It was late in the evening, Derek was working a closing shift and his dad was passed out in his chair, and his mom was about to make dinner when Ari noticed that the air inside the house smelled like rotten eggs. One click of the pilot for the oven ignited the whole house. Ari, in a sheer panic and desire to save his family from the flames, his ability was awakened as his skin turned to a rocky granite, and made an earthen barrier in an attempt to shield his family as he stood over them, passing out shortly after. He came to after the fire department had finally broken through his barrier, to realize in horror that he didn't save his family, rather he had cooked them alive in his dome. Since then, he and Derek decided to move to New Victoria, for Ari wanted to finally be free from the stigma he faced in his hometown for being an Evo and Derek wanting to protect his little brother, and he has kept quiet about his abilities for the most part. Derek is keeping a close eye on himself in case he exhibits any signs of abilities while working as a construction worker for the city.
