Description

The Honjō Masamune is a katana that never seems to become dull and is nearly unbreakable. No matter the impact or force placed upon it, the blade does not dent, bend, or break, though the true limitations of this have not been tested.
The sword represented the Tokugawa shogunate during most of the Edo period and was passed down from one shōgun to another. It is one of the best known of the swords created by Masamune and is believed to be among the finest Japanese swords ever made. The legends say that the blade will not cut without intention, only cutting that which the wielder intends to cut.
