Willow

Background and Role in Our Story

Willow was born in the village of Qarton and is Old Mae's granddaughter. Her mother, Alana, gave birth to her and left her with Old Mae, asking her to look after her. Willow has little memory of her mother and no idea who her father is. However, she does know that her mother is an adventurer, just like Old Mae, and Willow longs for a life of adventure and travel, hoping that she might bump into her mother when she does.
Willow works as a carpenter in Qarton, but secretly makes bows and sneaks off into the Pinkwater woods to hunt and fight dangerous creatures when she can. Therefore, when the bonk squad arrived in the village, she was itching to help them oust the mercenaries that were causing trouble and solve the mystery of the wandering villagers. Old Mae had forbade her from getting involved for her own safety. Willow helped the bonk squad fight off Brutus when he returned and advised them about the location of the Goblin Caves in Pinkwater forest. 
Willow bid the heroes farewell when they left Qarton, but they'd inspired her more than they could know.

Appearance

Willow stands out in Qarton due to her pointed ears and half-elf features. She has green eyes and keeps her hair short, so that it doesn't get in the way as she travels through the woods. Willow wears a single gold hoop, that was originally a brooch, which her mother gave to her when she was a baby.

Personality

Likes and Dislikes

Willow loves tales of adventure and danger, especially those about her mother or grandmother, which she rarely gets to hear unless Old Mae is in an especially good mood. She likes hunting and the woodlands.
Willow dislikes being told what to do and being mollycoddled. She is terrified of spiders (though she keeps this hidden as she doesn't think it's very suitable for an adventurer to be an arachnophobe).

Personality quirks

Willow is incredibly excitable whenever she meets people that have seen parts of the world and done things that she's never done. Her archery is impressive. When nervous, Willow fingers her earring, the one thing she owns of her mother's.
