The Cult of the End

"The Day will come, my brothers and sisters. The Day of the End. The Beast will awaken from its slumber and its roars are the signal of yet another Cataclysm. So let us wait for that day with gleaming zeal. For it will be the end of Evernight, and we will all be there to witness it. We will be the first to be annihilaited by the Beast. So look forward to that day, for it is coming some day soon."
  • Durothur Dargus
  • Structure

The Cult of the End is a group of maniacs gathered around the Lagoon of Doom awaiting for the destruction of the world. They have no structure or organized system. They are usually lead by the most powerfull and charismatic member of the cult, and others follow him of her blindly.

    Public Agenda

The Cult cares little of the world outside the Lagoon. They seek the destruction of the world, but rarely take any measures to further that goal. Mostly they just wait for the Beast of the Lagoon to awake and to end them.

    Assets

The Cult is just a gathering of lunatic hermits, so they is little to nothing on their name. They live by gathering fruits from the hills surrounding the Lagoon of Doom and catch fish from the surrounding waters.

    History

No one knows when the cult was established, for most of the people tend to avoid the Lagoon and its eerie atmosphere. The Cult itself has no interest in keeping track of time or documenting their doings, so there is no saying how long they have waited for the Beast.

    Mythology & Lore

The Cult of the end is based solely on the stories about the Beast of the Lagoon, a terrible beast slumbering in the bottom of the Lagoon of Doom. The members of the Cult wait for beasts awakening and how it will destroy Evernight and even the gods will tremble before it. There is no more mythology, but the most learned and devoted members of the Cult claim that the Beast has awoken before and that led to the Great Cataclysm.
