Lafir Duskhall was born as a son to Yronel Duskhall, a merchant who saw potential in a lonely island in the eastern parts of Isles of Dawn. Larif learned trade from from his father, as well as his grand schemes of building a prosperous city.
Larif has used most of his life dreaming and building city of Noermak in hopes of one day seeing it became a great city able to challenge city-states of Marghuin. After the death of his father he also inherited the Duskhall name and the trade fleet that had worked for his father.
