Personal history

Cieri was born to a poor merchant family in Freecity of Hawkdive in Isles of Dawn. His elven father was managing operations for the ruler of the city, and her mother was one of the officials in the business. Cieri was tought the ruthless tactics that merchants of the freecities needed from the young age.
As she grew up she became facinated by the relics that where scattered around the Isles of Dawn, and saw a great opportunity in gaining wealth and power by discovering those secrets. She broke up with her parents business and began her own shop. With the profits she funded expeditions to old ruins and secret places in the nearby areas always demanding half of the profit for herself.
Her methods where frowned upon by the ruler of Hawkdive, and soon she received a warning. She had to stop her ridiculous dreams and send rest of her earnings to the ruler as a tax, as all the other independent traders of Hawkdive did. This angered Cieri, and so she left Hawkdive, and arrived to Noermak. Her wealth and knowledge gave him great authority in the city with much less strict policy in taxes, and very soon her posessions bought her the place in the Council of Three.
Ever since Cieri has managed her fishing fleet from Noermak. She has not given up her ambition of finding old secrets, and from time to time she sends expeditions to explore the lost places of Isles of Dawn. She is also known to be great benefactor of science and research.
