Prince Richard Theodore Skalxien (a.k.a. Nine)

Richard IX is the second son and third child of King Richard VIII and Queen Theodora. He was actually named for his grandfathers, not his parents. Unlike his older brother and sister, he has never once seen combat or even desired to learn how to fight, instead preferring the royal library and the theatre. Despite his academic pursuits, or perhaps because of them, King Richard VIII has chosen Richard IX as the Lord of the Forbidden City, essentially giving him control of the Empire if anything should happen to the heir, Prince Robyn.
Richard is commonly known to his friends and family as "Nine", and he is known to encourage the nickname. He was briefly engaged to his cousin, Grace Skalxien, but her status as a criminal has forced him to take a different spouse to shake off the association. He is currently married to Ababe Jilar, a sheikh of the Zendali Wandering Tribes, and they have a son, one year old Richard X.
