Dogun Hold

Dogun Hold is a fortified cavern, hidden well beneath the earth and surrounded by the heart of an active volcano. The town is surrounded by obsidian walls, and the houses themselves are made of enchanted stone. The largest building is the Forge of Discovery, a massive domed structure drawn up directly from the rocks and surrounded by a moat of supernaturally cold water. Dogun Hold is only accessible via the Caves of Everlasting Fire, a massive dungeon protected by fire elementals and giants. The safest path through is only known to the people that live in Dogun Hold and the Dwarves that are charged with protecting it.
