Mechanics & Inner Workings

Because of its enchantment, the blade is unnaturally sharp, and has a chance of severing a piece of soul from a living thing cut with it. That soul fragment is given to the wielder to be released as magical power.

Sentience

The blade does not trust itself because of its hunger. It has come to trust the judgement of The Wanderer in place of its own. It wants to be used. It wants to taste the spirit of a living soul, but it also has a continence.

Manufacturing process

Though the specific design is not one seen on Everfall and thought it is finely crafted, the weapon itself is not particularly special. The enchantment, however, is utterly unique. The enchantment of the artifact is incredibly complex.

Significance

The blade is mostly thought of as the strange weapon wielded by The Wanderer.
