He was the twin-brother of Ralnor. He is the husband of Taana, and father of Elan.

He has a week long sport-event at the beginning of each new year (the Second Week). Goren's abbeys all having a huge field for different kind of sport events, like running race, lance throwing, riding, war-games and ball-games. Whoever wins the most of them, wins a wreath and a glory (and some cash prize and lots of attention).
