Fire-snail
This giant sea snail grows a house up to 60 centimeters long and lives on the seabed of Blackwater and Ilia Bay. It is predatory and feeds mainly on starfish. For self-defense, it emits extremely strong poison, which, mixed with water, can kill almost any creature in its vicinity.
The Glonoii keep these creatures as others keep their pets. They milk the venom of captive snails and use it in battle, but they are also able to make their own antidote from it.
The Undines use the red shells for decorative purposes in their homes. Children of Grimanth are naturally resistant to the firesnail-poison. For them, it is considered a useless creature and they prefer to avoid it during hunting.
Humanoids of the surface usually encounter empty houses washed ashore. If they encounter a living creature, it is usually fatal.
