in order to become the blair king you must be the son of the last blair king and you must remove your name and take up blair king as not just a title but a name.

Appointment

when a blair is elevated to blair king he is made to cast a spell upon himself of unknown power and use edge.

Duties

the blair kings job is to protect his race by any means at his power.

the title is deputed as Arax wishes the crown for himself but most still support the idea that the old blair king will raise again.
