sgt luka korvic letter home

My dearest Aleksandra the day grow long hear sitting in my trench. the war hear has been hard hear. the Castilian bombard our trenches everyday. apart from the war hear lostia is nice. i went to attelo with the men. on a sunny day the beaches are warm. when the war is over we should take alex and marco there they have never seen the sea before.
yesterday were made an attack on a small hamlet. I was given one of the new mobile telegraph boxs. it weighted a tone and on top of my rucksack and and rifle i could barely walk. the halmet had about 20 men manning it. i used the new telegraph box to tell command. they then told me that we were to attack the hamlet and take it. i lead 10 men and we went to the east of side of the hamlet. we entered a house which over looked the center of the hamlet and we used the house to snipe the Castilian.
when the battle was over we made camp and sat around a fire and sang.
how i miss the day when you and i and the boys would sing around our fire. i hope one day we will be toghters
