Church of Azagog

The Church of Azagog is a group of nihilistic cultists who worship the eldritch god Azagog. They believe that worshipping Azagog will allow them to enter a state of unity with the deity after death and become a part of something greater than themselves. The truth is that Azagog is feeding on the souls of the dead that have been sent to them to create elite servants known as the Sovereigns of Oblivion.   The Church is also involved in spreading The Blight by turning creatures into Black Blood Zombies or Null Beasts, or creating Profane Constructs. Furthermore, they want to convert everyone into fellow worshipers to further their cause, and have no qualms with killing those who do not comply.

Low-level initiates to the Church. They spend their time performing dirty work or menial labor for the higher-ups. Many have been so infected with the Blight that they are unable to speak.

Priesthood

The Church of Azagog is led by the Void Speakers, the high priests and priestesses who govern the organization. The Speakers are responsible for the Cardinals, who govern church activities in smaller regions, such as major cities, as well as the Black Arbiters, special agents of the church who carry out dark missions. Individual temples are run by Priests, who oversee day-to-day affairs and manage any number of Acolytes that work under them.
