Legions of Reustacei
Note that the assumed veterancy depends on the Legion in question, but all can be assumed to be trained professionals. In all, Reustacei has 15 Legions, the I through the XV. It is rare for Legions to fight together, but it has happened in times of crisis.

Tactics
Protelum engage the enemy as organized formations, forming 3 ranks within their commanders in the formation, allowing them to engage in a variety of advanced tactics (such as the Testudo or tortoise).
If the situation requires it, the Legionaries can act as skirmishers as well, but prefer to leave such activities to available Auxilia.
The Legion excels at open field combat, but is also highly skilled at siege warfare.
Training
Legionaries have near daily maintenance training when not on campaign to maintain their professionalism and fighting skill.
Initial training lasts a full year, and sees recruits trained in everything from marching to basic tactics, swordsmanship to fortification building, hand-to-hand combat to basic policing. It is grueling training, but produces an extremely well trained and professional force.
Logistics
Logistical Support
Each Protelum is divided into 4 tent groups of 5 Legionaries. These men divide duties such as pitching tents, building temporary fortifications, and cooking between them.
The Logistics Corp is a group of Servus, Freedmen, and Plebeians who organize transport of materials, foodstuffs, captured prisoners, and anything else the Legion requires them to. They also organize the acquisition of materials, foodstuffs, and anything else the Legion requires them to.
The Logistics Corp is often accompanied by prostitutes who frequent the Legion's tent lines.
Recruitment
Plebeians freely join the ranks in order to become Emeritus, or Voting Citizens.
In times of crisis, a draft may be prescribed by the Senate to bolster the Legion's ranks.
