Sultan Al-Shaer
Imaad Al-Shaer, Sultan and son of the queen of The Ripa Lands. His land all used to be under the rule of his mother, but as a coming of age present he was gifted half of her land for him to rule. While the country was mostly already created under his mother's rule, Imaad has made some considerable changes in architecture and culture, while still keeping some flavor of the now neighboring country. Imaad, while seemingly fun loving and care free at a glance, is a careful ruler. He calculates risks just as one would calculate profits in merchant trade, and as such he negotiates as one. He hopes for the best possible outcome in any given scenario, but is mostly optimistic.
His cheery attitude is often infectious, and constantly shared in grand celebrations or fun conversation. Imaad, while his head may be heavy with the responsibilities of being prince, takes great care to relieve his stress. Whether that be drinking with friends, an entertaining spar, or a festivity for the commoners of his town, it's rare to see Imaad hiding away within the walls of his palace. Furthermore, being born a merchant, Imaad has no qualms meeting and speaking with varying traders in his kingdom, much to the dismay of his council.
