The Red Mountains
The Great Mountains that once separated the Nations of the Elves from the Humans before the foundation of the Alandic Federation.
Geography
The peaks of the many ridges reach into the sky and above the clouds. They are capped with snow sometimes as far as three hundred metres down. The land surrounding the base is covered in dense Pine and Redwood forests, from East to West, respectively.
Fauna & Flora
Flora is quite abundant across the range. Flowers are abnormally commonly seen growing, especially roses. One reason for this is the lack of herbivores in the area. Faunae seem to avoid the range, though the reason for this is not known and it is simply accepted that the slopes are too perilous and nothing has evolved to live in the harsh environments.
