The absolute Capital of the Valdarian Empire and the Edelweiss Province. This great city is the pride of the Empire and the Valdarian Bloodline's ancestors. Wealth and opulence are displayed with no expense spared.

Demographics

King's Landing, being the capital city of the Empire, operates quite differently from the usual settlement. This is well-reflected in its demographics. There is little to no resources produced within the city-limits. Instead, it imports nearly everything from the surrounding settlements and certain renowned locations within the Empire. Due to this, there is a tiny peasantry population, compared to the amount one would normally witness in a settlement of its size.

Government

Directly under the control of the Royal Family, King's Landing is said to be the Paragon of the legal system in the Empire. It is brutal but effective; benevolently lending an ear to all when it must, but showing no restraint when the iron fist is to be brought down. Enforced by the Elite Guard, the laws have not been consistently broken in a long time within the city and crime is shockingly low, for all the gain to be found..

Home to the House of Lords and the House of Commons, situated in the Grand Imperial Courthouse, King's Landing has an enormous array of influencers that affect the entire Empire daily.

History

King's Landing was built upon a natural harbour at the join of the Sea and the Violet Thread, where the first King, King Zachary, landed his fleet.
