Half Glacial Giant

In the frozen icecaps of Northern Thedoeden an interesting mix of a species came to be. This is a different type of half-giant as they have descended from frost giants, arctic dwarves, and humans. The clans came together as their populations were dying out due to old age and of long toothed white beasts.   Governed/ruled by two Half Glacial Giants who tend to be a couple. There is a group of Elders that are the wise folk, magic, divination, shamans who guide the ruling pair. The Elders are the historians, they have the entire history of their kind.  

History

Asaling, human woman and a male frost giant, Gagrog, where the first pairing to successfully reproduce and they named him Fionnlagh. Within the first year there were five offspring of the mix of human and giant or of dwarf and giant.  

Half Glacial Giant Traits

Ability Score Increase The decision is yours but typically Constitution score increases by 2 and your Strength score increases by 1.
Age Half Glacial Giants reach adulthood at 15 and live on average between 100 and 350 years.
Alignment Half Glacial Giants tend to fend for themselves and seek justice (to make up for their past ancestors) which pushes them towards neutrality.
Size Typically between 6' and 8' and weighing between 150-290 pounds. Your size is medium.
Speed Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Ancestry If you Half Glacial Giant mainly descended from a dwarven lineage then you have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage. If you mainly descended from a human lineage then you gain one skill proficiency of your choosing.
Powerful Build You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Born Frozen You have resistance to cold damage. You’re also acclimated to high altitude, including elevations above 20,000 feet.
Languages You can speak, read, and write Common and Giant.  

Naming

At least one of their names focus on a word or meanings of a word that means cold, ice, frozen, etc. In those who have a more dwarven lineage their family name has something to do with that. If the lineage is more human than the first name tends to be focused on cold. It is common to see elemental names being used.
