Crown's Shields

The Crown's Shields are the Queen personal protectors and of her family. They also protect Wyndan Castle. The Shields protect and defend the rest of Cocophymal including Jaahil the town proper.

Structure

There are two different domains that the Crown's Shields manage: the Queen herself and the Wyndan Castle. There are two groups with the same people with other Crown Shields going amongst the two groups.

Theodra Zinna

Durlan Eilran

Theodra is the Grand Commander of the Crown's Shields. She spends her time with Faelyn Wyndan the current Queen along with three female Lieutenants, Nimble Luck, Ena Krisleth, and Timandra Northumberland.

Durlan is the High Commander of the Crown's Shield. He spends his time in Wyndan Castle with:
Two CommandersShaw Nightwork, and Leena Venstina;
Three Lieutenants Gemma Shadowwind, Zendan Gillee, Maralla Zumpeiros; and Jerrok
Officers Daphimila Diamondbright, Frobyn, Gaeleath Cailamin, Thyme, Nasr Zozik, Ren , and Arran

Public Agenda

They stand for the Queen to protect her and serve her. They are there to prevent harm and to be front and center if there is harm to come to the Queen, her family, or the Castle.

Tenets of the Crown's Shields

Honor: Do as much good as possible. Take ownership of your actions and decisions. Do not send people where you would not go yourself.
Be the Light: Show compassion, decency, and courage to all especially those in the depths of despair.
Loyalty: Have integrity and show up. Do not let lies take you off the path.
Fit for a Queen: We are here to serve the Queen and we will adapt to serve her.

Conflicts and Threats

Cocophymal is relatively peaceful at the moment. There are tensions between Cocophymal and Melardohr as the War of Crystalize Destruction divided the two countries further apart than just Hattara Peaks. There currently isn't any threats again Queen Faelyn Wyndan though there has been some rumblings that the leaders of the Dryad's in Neem will be coming to speak to Faelyn Wyndan about perceived grievances.

Recruitment and Resigning

There are only a select few that earn their way into being a Crown Shield. The recruits are required to go through specialized training and must know the city of Jaahil extremely well. They are then interviewed by all the current Crown Shields and if the recruit passes then they can meet with the Queen for her final decision.
Leaving your position as a Crown's Shield is as easy as telling the Queen and the Grand Commander. No one wants a Crown Shield that does not want to serve and protect the Queen and the Castle.
