Habitat Drop Process Letter

Greetings and congratulations [Insert Customer name followed by Banner], for investing in a Columbus Colonization Habitat!

As the standing Customer Relations Director of this company, I would like to make sure personally you are aware of the process of deploying Habitats and what you can expect from us in the following months leading towards launch!

As you know, even a Columbus Colonization Habitat would be nothing without a dedicated crew. That's why our first step is to hire a crew tailored to your liking. We will first take on board anyone you personally recommend. After a short interview process, we will fill any gaps through our own labor pool. With your approval of the crew roster, we can move to the drop itself.

I would recommend taking the time to go over our Stage One scout reports. Dropping on a planet is dangerous, and I can personally attest to the multitude of ways a habitat can be dead on arrival. It's an expensive nightmare, and most of them could have been avoided through careful research. We can help you with the research, but at the end of the day it is your choice to drop or not. When you find a location on the planet to drop, we will notify a chosen subsection of the crew to scout out the location you have picked.

This scouting party will serve as the Habitat's first 'eyes on the ground.' They will be able to place the final signal for a landing site; or call of the landing should there be unseen dangers. If we receive no confirmation to drop by the time the habitat drop ship reaches orbit, we will alert you, delay the landing, and let you know if there were any causalities to back fill. Again, pick your landing site carefully, it could be the difference between literal life and death for your crew!

Now that the scout crew has successfully mounted an approved landing beacon, the orbiting ship can start the Habitat's drop. The remaining crew and all included supplies will be sent to the surface via impact gel landing. Once the habitat lands, you have officially embarked on your Stage Two Colonization adventure!

Crew while left to their own devices will be instructed to create a sustainable space as soon as possible. With the included farming pods, water well, and power supplies, they can make an independent colony in as little as a few days.

During the crucial time, the Columbus colonization handler of the operation will make intermittent checks to assist and ensure progress is being made. They will also be encouraged to explore and map out the surrounding area, which will be handy in marking valuable resources or dangers yet undiscovered. Within a few months, we will be ready to help you take the habitat to the next level of colonization; The ever so lucrative Stage Three!

That's the entire process! Your operations handler will always be available to answer any additional questions of course. Again, I'd personally like to thank you for taking this important step with us, we know there are many choices out there.

We will not disappoint!
