MédiAdvanz does everything in its power to research and provide ways to better, healthier lives, with a focus on artificial organs, biomechanical cybernetics, and genetic manipulation - though some laboratories do work on drugs, they leave most drug production and research to other companies, preferring to focus only on drugs for orphan (ultra-rare) diseases.
They work closely with companies and organizations with specializations that compliment their own, in the hopes of advancing this goal.
History
Founded in 18467 NT by a woman named Viliana Garcia, MédiAdvanz Cynetishen (frequently abbreviated to MédiAdvanz or MAC) has always done its best to remain neutral during the various conflicts that have raged on Terra. Whether it be a Verith or Fasar's rampage or the vampires' Red War, MédiAdvanz has always stood as a neutral centre of medicine and research. They do not take sides, for all deserve to live healthy, though they do lay down a line of not servicing those who directly attack their employees or assets - if you want their services, then do not cause them harm.
Perhaps one of the biggest developments in recent times is the rhythmist gland, a life-changing artificial organ implant now in use not only in the medical field, but also in militaries the world over.
