I take a deep and long look into the mirror-like surface of lake Sgáthan. At first everything seems normal, the stars overhead, my face as I know it.
But then the image slowly distorts, the stars dance around as if to mock me. I turn into a ghastly apparition, unrecognizable.
Fear and doubt overcomes me. No, this is not me. What is happening?
I have to get out of here, fast!
