Mental characteristics
Heston ver Umeret was born into a long line of proud Dregian soldiers. His father and the general who led him were good friends. When he grew up and became a soldier himself, his competence in battle and his impressive charisma quickly lifted him through the ranks until he replaced the general who had led his father and had led him when the man retired. With this position, he won several key victories against Augustia that arguably saved the country and prevented Augustian victory. However, when he sustained an injury to his chest that prevented him from further service in the army, he went home to Denimos, where he was elected the next Provincial, replacing the man who had held that title previously.
His mother, a librarian, taught him how to read. He learned politics from the advisors of the previous provincial, as well as experience. Has also taken immense amounts of learning and wisdom from the Eastern Empire of the Yogisu.
Began as a soldier, rose to the rank of general, then became a Provincial.
Saved Dregia from the Augustian Reconquest campaign. Replaced the general who led him and the Provincial who ruled him.
