Industry & Trade
Industry is heavily worked by refugees from Atrad and the warfront beyond it. The economy in general is powered by the labor of immigrants, and social policy is set up to create a level playing field for the desperate refugee and the established native.
Industry is heavily dominated by mining the nearby mountains and surrounding hills and manufacturing.
Guilds and Factions
Numerous labor unions exist, more than in any other city, and workers have a lot of bargaining power in Denimos. However, there also exists an Employer's Guild, where all the employers gather together and work together to leverage their interests against those of the workers.
Guilds for fine arts and crafts also exist, and are supported by the bustling economy underneath it all.
