Àrmzir

Àrmzir are also commonly known as Aasimar. The first records believed to be referring to the celestial-planetouched date back to a few decades after the gathering, and so they are generally considered a race of the Collection.

Basic Information

Biological Traits

While many traits have been associated with Aasimars of various bloodlines there are several that appear consistently across all appearances.

• Pupil-less eyes that are all one unusual color, and sometimes their eyes give off their own light.
• Small tufts of feathers on or near the back shoulder blades.

Other features typically accompany these traits, but are less notable and so aren't use in solely determining whether someone is or is not an Aasimar:

• Tendency towards being taller than most humans
• Tendency to have a different complexion then non-Aasimar relatives, often grey, blue or bronzed

Genetics and Reproduction

Aasimar's are a more unique race, in that the defining traits of an Aasimar tend to skip generations entirely, especially the more diluted the bloodline seems to be. However when the traits do appear, they fully manifest and there is no question. Because of this quirk, some religious cults hold that the appearance of an Aasimar has more to do with a celestial blessing than genetics.

Social Structure

There is very little social structure among Aasimars as a race. Typically Aasimars pop up to unwitting parents who didn't even know they had Aasimar bloodlines. Thus they don't hold much of a common culture or social structure.

There is one group however, associated with a celestial religion that practice interbreeding and inbreeding to try and restore pure Aasimar bloodlines. They often track down Aasimar from long lost families and try to convince them to join or marry into certain bloodlines. Some rumors have been floated that they are less convincing and more forceful with their tactics.
