The Trim

This is the area that is on the fringe of society, literally. The Trim is the area that is backed up against the wall surrounding the city. It is run down and poorly maintained. The dirty deals and shady exchanges happen here. Most illicit businesses run here. All the homeless are funneled here. Low income houses and apartments cover the areas not used for manufacturing.

Geography

The roads are tight, curvy, and un kept. Garbage piles are the norm. Local thugs and toughs harass locals for protection, money. Even though the city is good at keeping gangs down it still doesn't discourage small groups forming. Pollution is plentiful from the factories and the sewers back up constantly.
