The Boiling Cauldron

The Boiling Cauldron is the front for The Black Hand. It offers crappy drinks, mediocre food, bookie for the arena, and low level brothel. This is your normal hangout. You are known as amateur hunters scrapping your way to the the top. You recognize most of the members and workers there. Descending into the lower sections of the building is where you acquire your bounties. You have only earn enough reputation with the guild to go down to the first level. The common room is large with many tables. Off to the left is more comfortable chairs where there is a scattering of gambling tables and book keepers. To the right of the common room is a smallish area where the head madame resides setting up clients.

Purpose / Function

This is where you get your bounties and turn them in for rewards. You also spend much of your free time here. Some times you will meet with the clients off site for more information and to collect rewards.

Architecture

Large three story stone building with a slate roof. It looks slightly worn down from the outside, on the inside it is grimy and a little disheveled. As you go further up the nicer it gets. Also the further down underground the more opulent the decorations become.

History

The building is old, almost as old as the city. It hold much power and wealth. Many fates of the surrounding area have been decided under this roof. Unfortunately The Black Hand has started to slip. It is whispered among many the reasons, including the possible death of the head of the clan which cannot be proven due to no one knowing the exact nature of the leader if they were ever killed or not .
