The United Lands of Bry'at and Cheria

Bry'at and Cheria are a united nation formed of two Elvish Clans. Their remaining territories are seen by many elves to be the rightful lands of the Elves, the one promised to them by Torik when they left the Feywild. As such, most different races of Elves can be found within the region, leading to infighting amongst the many different groups. Despite worshipping the same Estarion Pantheon as most of the world, Bry'at and Cheria (most referred to as Bry'at) worships an augmented pantheon known as the Thurian Pantheon. Turah is a heavily worshipped figure by elves, especially within Bry'at. It is questionable as to whether he is seen as a God to them or merely just someone of great historical importance.
The United Lands are also famous for being known as the place where the Mother began to create the world, as the residue magic of the weave is still felt in parts of the region. As such, a city named "Landing" was formed where she did Land, and the intense power of the weave there has lead to a strong magic academy forming in the city. Other cities inside of Bry'at and Cheria include the capital, Bobuzh'turah, where Turah spent most of his life. Bobuzh'turah is one of the weaker capitals in comparison to other regions, and is not even the largest city within The United Lands in terms of population. That instead is Oseh, a strong port city which earns it's money through trade with the "new lands" of Eorsta and with the exotic races in Anros.

History

Long ago, the Duchies of Bry'at and Cheria were two weaker elven clans inside of a larger nation, known as Baaler. However, the Baaler nation fell after Tharatos came and burned the nation to cinders. With many thousands dead, those who remained went to war. Bry'at and Cheria joined together in the war in an attempt to take themselves to the top. Both had planned to betray eachother once they were the only two left... however after seeing how formidible the other clan was at war, a kinship was formed. A marriage was put in place, uniting the two clans into one.

In Turah's name we lift the Mother's blade.
