Kingdom of Pes'lan
Pes'lan is a powerful nation that originally contained most of Northern Allanria, until it's fragmentation in 110AC into 3 nations, known as Gatle and Dur'lan. Pes'lan itself still remains a powerhouse in world politics due to it's influence and access to resources underneath the mountains. Mining remains one of the main industries within Pes'lan, who own the mountains that one housed the Dwarven Capital in the Underdark - which has now been turned into an intricate mine system that is shared with Gatle due to both once being one nation.
It's largest city is Keldenburg, the capital, which is known to be one of the jewels of Estarion. Built into a beautiful forest, Keldenburg was named after a small castle in the region of Keld that the city was built around. Soon, it had grown to be one of the largest and most populus cities in the world, with an estimated population of around 411 thousand. A trade center, it also hosts a large amount of housing outside of city boundaries.
With large connections to Fost and it's neighbours, Pes'lan has quite open relations to the exotic races, and were the second nation to illegalize slavery after Allanria did. They have only been ruled by humans and only humans may serve on the Council, however.
Culture
Quite an open-armed culture, who are interested quite heavily in the arts of other nations and are well known to hold some of the most facinating museums in the world. They also have a magic academy, and allow use of public magic.
