Sunsetter Village

[History]

  Sitting in the shadow of a stunning mountain range the Sunsetter Village, so named for the stunning vistas created when the sun dips behind the Ravoux Mountains creating a stunning light show of golden beams reflecting from the snow covered peaks above. Though the village itself stands as somewhat of a tourist attraction, its primary industry is centered around the cultivation of Alta Flower s and other medicinal flowers, herbs, and spices.   Tribar Cinnamon, Medical Mint and Blue Aloe are all native to the surrounding areas however the farms in Sunsetter Village have become experts at the cultivation of medicinal flora. The controlled process through which they have increased their yields is held in the strictest confidence by one family; the Baroni's. Seven generations of Baroni's have been elected to mayor of the village (though many ran unopposed). The Baroni's secrets have kept the town profitable and the profits have kept the town secure and solvent.

  If not for the sweet scent of their farms, Baroni Floral would have a wholly despicable reputation. Though their product is impeccable, their business practices leave a great deal to be desired. Having strong-armed their way both into and to the top of the flower business in Espen, the Baroni Family have made a number of enemies along the way, but none dumb enough to challenge the Baroni's claim as the masters of the flower game.

Gil and Vil of Vil Krie's House of Healing - Alttanes partnered with her 3rd cousin on her father's side, Will Krie. Opening VWG Botany, and while Will did not possess nearly the talents for applied medicine or magic that many of the others in his family did, he showed an aptitude for discovery and experimentation. Proving his worth by discovering a novel way for harvesting and storing Alta Flowers Will proved his worth and was rewarded with an investment in his research.

  Murdoc's Inn and Flats is the only inn in town and somewhat of a retirement for healers and doctors whose patient record was less than stellar. Given their reputation, they are usually the last stop for those out of options and seeking...non-traditional means of healing.
