Alta Flower

Botonist Findings:

Named for the high altitude at which is it grown, the flower itself is remarkably rare. Due to its specific requirements to bloom:
  1. At altitudes of 1500 ft. - 2500 ft.
  2. An average temperature of 88° - 97° F
  3. Humidity between 75 - 100%
  4. Rocky Alkaline Terrain
Historically, these conditions only occur in and around the city of Alttanes during the late summer and early fall months, but Alta Flowers have been seen growing as far north as Vitilanas and during all months. Listed as one of the rarer flowers in the world because it requires high temperatures, high humidity, high alkalinity, and high altitudes to grow, making it almost impossible to cultivate outside its natural habitat.

Horticultural Findings:

Famed for its intoxicating aroma and beauty the Alta Flower is said to be used in a number of medicinal products that boost metabolism, treat scarring and aid in the recovery of burns. The Alta fields are highly guarded and regulated closely by the High Table of Alttanes.

Herbalism:

Used primarily in the creation of healing potions, balms, and salves; while in full bloom the flowers are a bright yellow and grow in small clusters of 3-4. When not in full bloom they are a dull orange and are half as effective in potions.
