Dead Eye Run

History:

Originally a refugee city for Halflings, Dead Eye Run has become far more diverse than its humble beginnings. The halflings an oft forgotten casualty of the Drow Elf Compact as they were forced from their homes during the conflict and as past of the compact agreement the lands were repurposed to the Drow.   As the mediator of the Compact, the humans partitioned a sect of land for the Halflings south of Twinnam , naming it for the poisonous flower native to local riverbeds.   The Dead Eye Carson may seem harmless but the tiny barbs on the stem seep a near lethal toxin. Only expert botanists are required for the harvesting and clearing of fast-growing flowers.

Locations

Half-n-Half Inn caters to the town's few visitors, though the rooms are sized for Halflings the modular nature of the rooms allows for accommodations for most other species (orcs not allowed).   Pint Sized Ale Hall offers a variety of unique ales and spritzers. While the drinks are lightweight the portion sizes more than make up for that.   Minnie's Spinners specializes in spinning items, her background is in gyroscopic studies from Uriyra Research Observatory in Evolir.   Though Dead Eye Run is a small village as a refuge for Halflings they house more displaced persons than any other city. Pallwell House opens its doors to any displaced person.   The School of the South specializes in studies of the physical world specifically weaponizing elements of the world that can keep their encampment turned town safe. Admissions are tightly regulated, 81% are human with a majority coming from southern human towns.
