The University of Alois

Established during the rein of the third Azure King(Alois Dreadwood), University of Alois, named after the said king, has been a prestigious institute for education of bright minds of the Empire. Mainly priding itself on the various scientific advancements made in the past four centuries of operation, University of Alois is considered open to the public from peasants to nobles.

Admission Process

The admission process for the university usually takes about a year from application to admission.
The prospective students start the process by submitting an application to the University from Sluth to Epon. This application mainly consists of an essay and some recommendation letters. The Essay portion is for the applicant to explain why they deserve to attend the university. Many prospective students write about their accomplishments, some even send their inventions or ideas to the university in hopes of that helping their admission process. The recommendation letters are not a necessity but they greatly help one's chances of being admitted.
During the admission process the University will sometimes send out staff to gather more information about the applicant. This is fairly rare and usually no one actually knows this happened.
The applicant will receive their admission status in early Oprl and will have a couple months to prepare for their life in Sorune.
